Booking Policy

Online Appointments:


Appointments may be made 48 hours in advance or later. Click here and you will be directed to our Book a Session page where you can select the day and time that works best for you within our available hours. If you have a preference you may also select which engineer you would like to work with. 


Bulk Time:


Bulk time must be scheduled through our booking manager. Teascha will do what she can to find a time that works best for you. After you have made payment online, call or text 319-883-4400. She will give you all available options. If you have purchased time in bulk you can schedule up to 24 hours in advance. If a same day appointment is available she will arrange that with you. Your Session

All sessions start at the scheduled time regardless of whether artist is present. (If you arrive an hour late, you will still pay for that hour you missed.) If you are going to be late, please contact your engineer. A no call no show will result in you forfeiting 1 hour of studio time.


Be Prepared

To make the most of your paid time, it is best that you have everything ready to go. If you are bringing your own instruments/gear allow a minimum of one hour of set up time.

Breaks

Set up times and short breaks are billed at the standard rate. For sessions exceeding 4 hours, we would recommend that you have the booking manager schedule an off the clock break. 

Rescheduling

To reschedule your session, you must contact us at least 24 hours in advance.

Accepted Payment Methods

PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Parking

You may in the park in the East parking lot or the Street. Please do not park in the West parking lot.

Studio Policy

Session Files

The Sound Box Studio is not responsible for maintaining session file backups. All media created at The Sound Box studio remains property of The Sound Box until paid in-full. 


Bring a hard drive, or flash drive. Other methods for data transfer such as Dropbox, OneDrive etc. can be used as well.

Damaged Equipment & Injuries

The Sound Box is not responsible if you break your own property in the studio. If you break any studio equipment or instruments, the cost to replace or repair will be the responsibility of the individual who damaged it.


You may eat and drink in the studio, we ask that you be extremely careful not to spill. If one occurs your session time will be used to clean it.

   

The Sound Box is not liable for any injuries that may occur on studio property.

Outdoor Rules

There is no smoking inside of the studio. You may smoke outside. There is a receptacle for cigarette butts at the rear entrance. 


Please respect the neighbors by keeping voices down and not playing loud music or instruments outside the studio.
